Informed consent

  1. Patient understanding and consent

Before any medical or aesthetic treatment is performed at Cuveele's Clinic, patients will receive clear, comprehensive information regarding the procedure, expected outcomes, potential side effects, and risks. We encourage patients to ask questions and fully understand all aspects of the treatment before proceeding.

Patients are informed that all procedures are performed by qualified medical professionals under the supervision of Dr. Louise Cuveele, who will do their utmost to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience. Our medical and administrative staff, whether direct employees or self-employed individuals working under contract, bear the responsibility for maintaining a safe environment, conducting safe treatments, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

  1. Acknowledgment of subjectivity

It is important to recognize that aesthetic results can be highly subjective. While Cuveele's Clinic strives to meet your expectations and deliver satisfying outcomes, the clinic, its employees, or self-employed individuals working under contract cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction regarding the aesthetic results unless a medical complication occurs as a direct result of negligence during the treatment. Patients should maintain realistic expectations and understand that individual results may vary based on a variety of factors, including skin type, healing processes, and personal health conditions.

  1. Right to withdraw consent

Patients have the right to withdraw their consent at any point before the treatment begins. Should you decide to cancel your treatment after arriving at the clinic but before the procedure starts, no cancellation fee will be charged.

  1. Age of consent

Patients must be at least 18 years old to undergo aesthetic treatments at Cuveele's Clinic. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required.

  1. Risks and complications

All aesthetic treatments carry certain risks, including but not limited to bruising, swelling, infection, and dissatisfaction with the results. While we strive to minimize these risks through careful assessment and adherence to best practices, complications can still occur. Patients acknowledge that they have been informed of the potential risks and complications and agree to proceed with the understanding that Cuveele's Clinic and its staff will take all reasonable steps to avoid complications but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
